Hello, my name is Joshua Varde Laguana. I am the second oldest grandson of Gloria Laguana, one of many great grandsons of Florence "Mama" Villados, and to the rest of you, I am either your nephew or cousin. I currently reside in Portland, Oregon and attend Portland State University. I will be entering my last two semesters before I graduate with a BA in social science. On June 6th, 2005, I took the Law School Admissions Test at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and haven't received the results yet. Check out my personal website at www.justjoshhere.com.
From 1999 to 2004, I lived in Wahiawa, Hawaii just a few streets down from Mama's house and frequently visited the folks up there on Kaliko Drive. At times Aunty Gladys and Uncle Donald would be in town visiting, and they would tell me stories about the family.
I had the opportunity to play the keyboard at Mama's funeral before the actual service. It was a great honor to play for our dear Mama. At Mama's funeral, I got to meet and revisit with many of you and learn about your lives. Crystal and Bryan began this site so we all could keep in touch and keep updated with each other and to share stories about past times with Mama and each other.
